Who We Are
The Loaves X Fish Foundation, Inc. (LXFFI) is a non-stock, non-profit corporation committed to providing nutritious meals to needy beneficiaries through partner parishes and organizations in the Philippines. It draws its inspiration from the Scriptural Text of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish (John 6:1-15), resonating with the belief in abundance through compassion.
LXFFI envisions a society where the underprivileged and marginalized not only gain access to quality, nutritious food but also become contributors to their communities. Additionally, the foundation aims to conduct essential research to tackle prevalent issues of poverty, hunger, and malnutrition, aiming to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
LXFFI is also inspired by the highly acclaimed and successful soup kitchen run by Willing Hearts charity in Singapore. Like Willing Hearts, LXFFI is envisioned to be supported by donations and wholly run by volunteers assisted by a ha handful of staff.
Our kitchen is now operational at its site in Alabang, Muntinlupa, Philippines. With the invaluable support of our community and generous donors, we are embarking on our mission of compassion and change.
